Diane Sawyer

Diane Sawyer is recognized as a leader and agent of change! Her ability to facilitate the change process through engagement and purposeful dialogue is her hallmark. She is sought after because of her integrity, drive, influence and incredible track record.

Working in the airline industry for more than 32 years, Diane has multi-faceted experience. She has worked in both field operations and headquarters environments. She has strong experience related to building world class service organizations through associate engagement, training, performance management and communication. Diane has held numerous leadership positions throughout her career with United Airlines. As Managing Director North America Inflight Operations she provided leadership and direction to over 20,000 employees. In the role of Corporate Learning Leader she built a training organization to facilitate change through engagement during the critical emergence from bankruptcy time period. Diane provided leadership for the transformation of inflight customer experience, developing and leading a clear service and delivery strategy for inflight service.

Diane is known for her ability to motivate employees to achieve results. Her expansive background includes significant experience with unionized work groups, organizational culture initiatives, and leading through the many challenges the industry has faced, including industry deregulation, ESOP, 9/11, bankruptcy and the integration of United with Continental.

As a management consultant Diane has been a business partner with expertise in visioning, strategic planning, and organizational transformation. Diane is a strong facilitator and has supported organizations through team interventions and organizational change processes. She works with a diverse group of companies such as healthcare, education and manufacturing. Diane is a sought after business coach.

Diane has a B.A. in Psychology and Education and a M.S. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations Management.

Diane will serve as an OD Consultant to the ILS Team on this project.
